Open Door Sequence Dancing

June and John Lockton are inviting people to drop in on at the Salle des Fetes in Champagne le Sec (near Chaunay) on Thursday afternoon the 10th January from 2.30pm to find out more about Sequence Dancing.  As the name suggests a sequence of steps have to be learned that are repeated as the couples dance in an anti-clockwise circle around the floor.  It is a modern idea beased on old time such as the st Bernard waltz.  There are many dances ranging from waltzes to cha cha cha's.  With Sequence dancing you have to use your brain, it is also gentle exercise and of course, very social!  So why not give it a try for the New Year and spice up your life a little.  June also makes a 'mean' cake......

We are of course always open on a Wednesday morning drop-in from 10am until midday or the Library is open every Weds afternoon 2 pm until 5pm or Friday mornings 10am until midday.
